POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONDesautels Faculty of Management, McGill University
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in Supply Chain Management, specifically in the area of demand and supply risk management. This position is part of our research team currently funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Operations Research / Operations Management or a relevant discipline and possess a record that demonstrates their research potential. Doctoral students close to completing their Ph.D. are also encouraged to apply. Candidates must have strong modeling, analysis and computational skills. Experience with the following areas is an asset: supply chain management, economic modeling of operations, supply disruption management, risk management, outsourcing, and analysis and design of integrated supply and demand mechanisms.
Commencing September 2008, this position is for one year with the possibility of renewal. There is some flexibility with regards to the starting date to accommodate the selected candidate.
