1postdoc to lead the setup of capabilities to monitor crack formation in laser processed ceramics via high speed thermography and CCD system and analyse the criteria for crack formation. Need to be skilled in thermography, optics, high speed process monitoring & data processing & analysis, thermal analysis and modelling, ceramics.
1postdoc to develop numerical tool to model crack evolution in 3D RVE models and derive constitutive models of nanocomposites. The applicant needs to be skilled in numerical methods like FEM/XFEM/MM, programming, mechanics of solids and structures, damage & failure analysis. Master level graduates can be considered if they have such skills.
